Annual Syndemic Summit
Each year, CEG convenes national and regional leaders at our Annual Syndemic Summit, a solutions-focused gathering addressing the interconnected syndemic of:
  • Substance use and overdose
  • Rural health workforce shortages
  • HIV and hepatitis C
  • Behavioral health
  • Structural inequities impacting access to care
This summit is designed to move beyond siloed conversations. It creates a shared strategy space where public health leaders, clinicians, community advocates, policymakers, and funders collaborate to build coordinated, systems-level solutions, particularly in rural and Appalachian communities.

CHAMPS CHW Workforce Training
Our CHAMPS – Community Health and Mobilization Prevention Services initiative equips community members with the skills, certification, and professional networks they need to be effective Community Health Workers (CHWs). This program strengthens the frontline workforce that connects individuals to care, resources, and health navigation services.

Rural Expansion
