For several years, CEG has staffed and maintained two virtual working groups, the WV Statewide Stakeholder Coalition and the Syndemic Work Group. As our work has geographically broadened across all of Appalachia, we merged these two groups in 2023 to become the Appalachian Partnership Consortium (APC). The APC meets over Zoom the second Monday of every month at 2pm EST and features conversations about critical public health issues in Appalachia that sit at the intersection of HIV, viral hepatitis, and overdose prevention. These meetings provide an opportunity for a larger community conversation on different public health issues as relevant to the Appalachian region in a comfortable, virtual setting.
